Welcome to my blog! My name is Katie and I am 27 years old. I am from Indiana and now happily live in Michigan. This space is a place to bring all of the things I love and care about together. Environmental sustainability, art and creativity, history and culture. All of which lead back to wine and spirits. Oh yeah, and my dogs. They will be featured on this site frequently.
I’ve been working in the Wine & Spirits industry for 6 years. I discovered that you could actually have a career in wine while in college (Go Bulldogs) after I tried to follow the advice of: “If you have to get a job and work for the rest of your life, it might as well be a fun job.”
One of the biggest challenges I faced starting out in this industry is one of the biggest perks: Getting to know all the product! There are THOUSANDS of wines/spirits out there to try. I will be your host to help you navigate this world.
